We have been continuing to practice our swimming skills and are looking forward to showcasing these next Wednesday. We have also been writing about our swimming and will share some of our writing in our next blog.
Silverdale Normal School students have been very fortunate to be able to participate in some more hockey skills sessions with Stuart this term. Everyone is enjoying practicing the skills they learnt last year and building on these skills.

For our topic work this term we have been focusing on what makes Silverdale Normal School special and building positive relationships.
As part of our work on this the children worked in groups to create a poster depicting what a great classmate says and does. Some great discussion resulted and here are some examples of the finished product.

  1. These sessions have been wonderful! What a great sport to get involved with. I think there are some Black Sticks in the making here!
